The city view was great, but the room was really hot at night.

We only slept at the double room, but liked it. The breakfasts were good with boiled eggs, beautiful view plus artisanal beers❤

Enjoyed our time here. The staff was amicable and accommodating and the place was clean. Stayed in a budget queen room room, it was beautifully designed with a touch of history, a large double bed, for instance. The outdoor restaurant served a lot of amazing food.

Our double room was airy.

The hotel is perfectly positioned for enjoying the riverside music festival, with performances right outside each night.

There was no kettle in the room, inconvenient for tea and coffee lovers.

Positive, Comfortable modern room. Lovely staff. Great location, close to shops, public transport, restaurants, and trendy area. The buffet breakfast was good with a variety of options.

Recommend it for families

The view from my room overlooking the Rhine was fine , especially at sunset , it was like a scene from a movie. The breakfast had plenty to eat like a variety of breads and pastries which really fueled my day exploring.

It wasn't cheap but still acceptable.

We enjoyed our stay with four kids, very clean rooms, and an excellent riverside bar. The Basel Card granted us free tram rides that amazing art museum everyone talks about.

My wife says that the shower water was a bit tricky to adjust. It would be great if they had family-oriented activities available.

The room was great with its large size and excellent soundproofing. The breakfast was excellent, too, with options to fuel my day exploring the beautiful basel.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, with great choices for breakfast, made our stay enjoyable and easy access to trams for exploring the city.

The room at East West Hotel offered a fine view of the river, a highlight of my stay. I loved the spaciousness and the cleanliness of the room. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the downtown area and next to a tram station. The breakfast provided a good variety, including great coffee, which started my day on a positive note. The lack of air conditioning was nice. Even with a fan, it didn't cool the room adequately. I missed having a kettle for tea or coffee in the room.

The room was spacious with a nice view, and the soundproofing ensured a relaxing stay. The shower offered great water pressure and instant hot water. Breakfast had a good variety, including excellent coffee and options for vegan diets. The bathroom lighting had issues, and the lack of staff at night made some logistics difficult.

The East West Hotel has a lovely riverside bar with fantastic views of the Rhine and all the hustle and bustle of the city. The room was cozy and clean, complete with huge windows offering a gorgeous view, although it did get a bit warm during the hot summer nights. The complimentary breakfast had a nice selection, including delicious pastries that fueled my adventures in Basel.

Wi-Fi was fast, and they had an excellent riverside bar. Room a bit warm.
